STREETS AND SIDEWALKS <br /> <br />ARTICLE III. STREET NUMBERS FOR LOTS AND BUILDINGS <br /> <br />§ 19-67 <br /> <br />Sec. 19-62. Required. <br /> <br /> All lots, parts of lots or other property abutting on any street or avenue shall be numbered. <br />(Code 1971, § 15-26; Ord. of 2-8-83, § 15-26) <br /> <br />Sec. 19-63. Base lines. <br /> <br /> Church Street, from the least corporate limits to Memorial Boulevard, and Memorial <br />Boulevard, from Church Street to the north corporate limits, shall constitute the base line for <br />all numbering on streets running north and south. Memorial Boulevard, from the south <br />corporate limits to Bridge Street, Bridge Street, Jones Street and Liberty Street shall consti- <br />tute. the base line for all numbering on streets running east and west. <br />(Code 1971, § 15-27; Ord. of 2-8-83, § 15-27) <br /> <br />Sec. 19-64. N~_nnbering based on frontage--In business districts. <br /> <br /> In a business district, from the corner of each block nearest its respective base line, each <br />twenty (20) feet of frontage shall be given a number~ Where two (2) buildings or rooms are <br />located on the same twenty (20) feet of frontage, each shall have a separate number. <br />(Code 1971, § 15-28; Ord. of 2-8-83, § 15-28) <br /> <br />Sec. 19-65. Same--In residential and industrial districts. <br /> <br /> In residential and industrial districts, comprising all of the city outside of business <br />districts, from the corner of each block next to its respective base line, each sixty (60) feet of <br />frontage shall be given a number, except that, where lots are less than sixty (60) feet, such lots <br />shall be numbered to conform with the size of the lot and/or to conform to the approved <br />subdivision of lots. <br />(Code 1971, § 15-29; Ord. of 2-8-83, § 15-29) <br /> <br />Sec. 19-66. Designation of streets. <br /> <br /> All lots, parts of lots, houses and places of business located on those portions of any street <br />extending north and south and being north of the base line shall be known and designated as <br />north, and all south of the base line shall be designated and known as south, and all located on <br />all those portions of any street extending east and west and being east of the base line shall be <br />known and designated as east, and all west of the base line shall be known and designated as <br />west. <br />(Code 1971, § 15-30; Ord. of 2-8-83, § 15-30) <br /> <br />Sec. 19-67.
