This tower will be a monopole, as opposed <br />to lattice. The top 50' of the monopole will sustain winds of up to 90 MPH. It is <br />designed for the top 50' to fail first. The bottom 130' will sustain winds up to 200 MPH. <br />The tower will be insured for $2 million. There are currently twelve other towers in <br />Martinsville and Henry County, four in the City and eight in the County. It is crucial to <br />have this tower located on this property to allow for overlap service. Digital signals do <br />not interfere with radio, television, etc." Vice Mayor Teague asked, '~/Vill wires be <br />coming from the tower to support it?"
