Earl Dodrill was <br />introduced as the new Board of Directors' Chairman. <br /> <br /> Council considered setting a public hearing required for transfer of ownership of <br />Parcel I in the Clearview Business Park from the City of Martinsvilla to the Martinsvilla <br />Industrial Development Authority. Council Member Dallas moved to approve a Public <br />Hearing for August 10, 1999; the motion was duly seconded and carried by the following <br />vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Crabtree, Dallas, Haskell, Roop, <br />Teague; Nays (0) - None. <br /> <br /> Council considered authorizing the City Manager to respond in the affirmative to <br />the Virginia Department of Transportation's offer to extend the City's Industrial Access <br />Road Agreement for Clearview Business Park to June 20, 2001. The original time <br />period was until December 20, 2000. However, due to the last session of the General <br />Assembly, VDOT recently revised its policy.
