TUESDAY, JUNE 28, 1988 <br /> <br />Overall Economic Development Program Committee, (2) a real estate matter, (3) <br />the tuition policy proposed by the City School Board, as hereinbefore <br /> <br />described, and (4) a legal matter in consultation with the City Attorney. At <br />the conclusion of this Executive Session, Council reconvened into regular <br />session but took no actions on the matters considered in Executive Session. <br /> <br />The following members of Council offered comments and/or made requests on the <br />following subject matters: <br /> <br />A. Councilman Cole: <br /> <br /> i. Travel costs incurred and budgeted (line items) by and for City <br /> ~S!o~ne'land'-offi~faI~d~bY-a~d'!ff~0~"S'~ho~O1SyS~em,~ersonnel and <br /> · offi~ial~-'~'or~'C~un~l~=~i~'i'~.~o'~'q~a f~ze~meeting, with <br /> <br />2. Refuse collection/disposal fee proposed by City Manager <br /> Brown in his Budget Message accompanying his recommended <br /> 1988-89 City Budget (not heretofore considered at a <br /> regular meeting) -- preliminary briefing thereon <br /> requested as soon as possible; <br /> <br />3. Efforts and accomplishments of the City's Transportation <br /> Safety Commission -- commended; and <br /> <br />B. Councilman McClain: <br /> <br />Heavy traffic generated in Wingfield-Park-Roy Streets <br />area by Pannill Knitting plant on Roy Street -- <br />consideration and further exploration of this matter <br />requested of City Manager Brown, supplementing his recent <br />report to Mr. McClain. <br /> <br />Mayor Oakes then declared this meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />W.
