The amending Zoning Map ordinance is as follows:

BE IT ORDAIMED by the Council of the City of Martinsville,
Virginia, in regular meeting assembled this twenty-eighth day of
June, 1988, that the Zoning Map of the City of Martinsville be--
and is hereby--amended to the extent that property identified as
Lot No. 18 situated at 601 East Church Street (being the
northeast corner of East Church Street at its intersection with
Pine Street) is hereby rezoned from R-9 Residential to P-2
Professional.

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by said Council that, an emergency
existing, this ordinance shall be in force on and after June 29,
1988.

In connection with a report entitled, "Report and Recommendation --
Implementation of E911 Telephone System", as prepared for Council by City
Manager Brown and as hereinafter made a part of these minutes as an addendum
thereto, Mr. C.
