City Manager on the <br />condition of properties on North Beaver Street in which it was <br />noted that City Administration had met with the owners of property <br />in the~area and placed them on notice to clean up these areas. <br /> <br /> Council acknowledged a status report on the Street Construction <br /> :.Pr?gram=in which Mr. Brown explained the need to amend the City's <br /> FY90-91 Street Construction Program in view of the failure to <br /> receive grant funds to construct a street and others-facilities in <br /> connection with a low-income housing projectfronting Smith Lake <br /> Road. In addition, the program has been reduced by virtue of the <br /> unwillingness of the property owners to support construction of a <br /> sidewalk on Barrows Mill Road whichwould require their donation of <br /> additional right-of-way, which they have refused to do. The City <br /> Manager recommended that, in view of the deletion of the Barrows <br /> Mill Road sidewalk project and the Smith Lake Road project from the <br /> current year's program, the following projects be added as <br /> <br />~replacements: (1) Curb and Gutter (shared cost)--New York Avenue <br /> and Overland Ridge Avenue--I,908 feet; (2) Sidewalk--Fayette Street <br /> from Memorial Boulevard to North Street--I,460 feet; and (3) Curb <br /> and Gutter--Commonwealth Boulevard from Liberty Fair Mall's primary <br /> <br /> <br />
