However, there are-significant <br />expanses of the County which cannot be reached within:acceptable <br />time limits from the existing volunteer squad stations. Therefore, <br />the consultants are suggesting public CPR training and emergency <br />medical dispatcher.training in order to-approach the 4'minute <br />response time. In order to reach the 8 minute and 15 minute <br />response times, the consultants are recommending the addition of <br />two:additional rescue squad stations, one each near the'Axton and <br /> <br />Horsepasture areas. <br /> <br />is unused.. , <br /> <br />The consultants reported that <br /> <br />The Horsepasture station currently exists, but <br /> <br />local budgetary support <br /> <br />for the <br /> <br />rescue squads through the United Way and other entities' was very <br /> <br />0., ~ :. good. <br /> <br />,,.. .....
