Followinga question by Mayor <br /> <br />Oakes, Mr. Lamm stated that the increase in retirement <br />contributions is due to the School System paying forthe retirement <br /> <br />contributions for its employees to V.S.R.S. (as-opposed-to the <br />employees...making the contribution). In response.to. a question by <br />Councilman McClain, School Board member Roger Martin stated that <br />the bids for=Phases IA and IB of the asbestos' abatement project <br /> <br />were -30%-lower than ~anticipated. Following another ..question by <br />Councilman McClain, Mr. Lamm stated that no funds are budgeted in <br />FY90-91 for replacement of.buses which do not meet the V.D.O.T. <br /> <br />standards,~but thatit is anticipated that funds willbe requested <br /> <br /> in.
