TUESDAY, APRIL 10, 1990 <br /> <br />the traffic count at this intersection was too low,to <br />qualify for a traffic signal according to V.D.O.T. <br />-standards. Councilman Cole requested that the City <br />look at sight distances at various intersections in <br />the City. Councilman McClain suggested that, if a <br />traffic signal was not warranted at the intersection <br />of Rives Rd. and Mulberry Rd., perhaps a flashing <br />warning signal with a "dangerous intersection" sign <br />could be placed on Mulberry Rd. to attempt to slow <br />traffic. <br /> <br />Councilman Cole noted that the Martinsvilla Bulletin <br />had recently published an editorial which commended <br />the City's Electric Department for its quick response <br />to a power outage affecting the Bulletin. <br /> <br />Councilman Groden asked Mr. Brown if there was an <br />ongoing investigation by the E.E.O.C. into City hiring <br />practices. Mr. Brown stated that he was not aware of <br />any investigation. <br /> <br />Vice-Mayor Williams noted the presence of litter at <br />several locations along Route 57 .West (Fayette <br />Street), to which My.
