Since he would be away that day, he asked that another date be

set.

In accordance with Section 2.1-344(A) of the CODE OF VIRGINIA (1950, and as
amended), and upon motion by Councilman Cole, duly seconded by Councilman
MCClain and unanimously carried by a recorded vote, Council convened into an
Executive Session for the purpose of considering (1) a realestate matter, as
authorized by Subsection 3, and (2) a personnel matter, as authorized by
Subsection 1. At the conclusion of this Executive Session, Council reconvened
into regular session wherein, by a recorded vote, each member of Council
certified that (1) only public business matters lawfully exempted from open
meeting requirements were discussed in said Executive Session~ viz., a real
estate matter and a personnel matter, and (2) only those business matters as
were identified in'the motion convening said Executive Session were heard,
discussed or considered by Council during said session.
