TUESDAY~ JULY 25, 1989 ANCHOR Commission for the unexpired term of Dr. Larry Kellogg, resigned, and (2) a real estate matter involving the possibility of acquiring a certain tract of land. At the conclusion of this Executive Session, Council reconvened into its regular session where it took no action on the real estate. matter but unanimously appointed Mr. S. Harold Lamm, Superintendent of the City School System, to membership on the ANCHOR Commission for Dr. Kellogg"s unexpired term which will end December 31, 1990, In so doing, each member of Council, on roll call, certified that, to the best of his knowledge, (1) only public business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements by Virginia law were discussed in said Executive Session and (b) only such public business matters as were identified in the motion convening the Executive Session were heard, discussed, or considered by the Council during that session. Upon motion, duly seconded and unanimously carried, Council adopted the following ordinance, with emergency clause attached, which corrects an ordinance adopted by Council under date of October 13, 1970, whereby an error was made in describing properties owned by--and rezoned at that time for-- Nationwide Homes, Incorporated: BE IT ORDAINED by the CounCil of the City of Martinsville, Virginia, in regular meeting assembled this twenty-fifthday of July, 1989, that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map of the City of Martinsville be--and are hereby--amended to reclassify to '~-3 Industrial" a portion of property owned by Nationwide Homes, Inc., and situated along Rugg Creek between the Norfolk and Western Railway and Forest Street as shown on a map of said property recorded in Map Book 11, Page 236, Martinsville Circuit Court Clerk's Office, excluding Lots Nos. 55 through 59 and a part of Lots Nos. 60 through 78 as shown on Sections 60 and 61 of the Property Tax Map of the City of Martinsville, with the following exceptions and subject to the following conditions: (1) Lots Nos. 55 through 59 shall remain as presently residentially zoned for a depth of one hundred and thirty (130) feet from their Forest Street property lines;
