Young, on behalf <br />of Martinsville Church of God, for a Special Use Permit under Section VIII, <br />Paragraph C.ll., of the Zoning Ordinance in order to operate a day care <br />center on property located at 219 Clearview Drive. <br /> <br />Council accepted the Financial Report for month ending'10/31/91 as prepared <br />by Director of Finance Richard Fitts. <br /> <br />Council accepted a report on the City's United Way Campaign recently cOnduct- <br />ed by Coordinator Tanya Barr. Members of Council and Acting City Manager <br />Heater congratulated Ms o Barr for her efforts in coordinating the campaign in <br />which City employees donated $5,891. <br /> <br />Council accepted a report by Acting City Manager Heater resulting from the <br />city's participation in the Virginia Retirement System's Early Retirement <br />Program in.which Mr.~Heater estimated savings resulting from the Program of <br />$230,039 in FY91-92. Councilman Oakes asked that Council receive another <br />update on this in twelve months. <br /> <br />Council accepted a report by Acting City Manager Heater that the City had <br />received a refund of-$10,348 from the Health Department for FY90-91.
