TUESDAY, jUNE 25, 199! <br /> <br />session, wherein, by a recorded vote, each member of Council certified that <br />(1) only public business matters exempted from open meeting requirements were <br />discussed in said Executive Session, and (2) only those business matters <br />identified in the motion convening the Executive Session were heard, <br />discussed or considered during said Session. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council made the following <br />appointments/reappointments: social Services Board--Anne F. Anderson, 209 <br />Thomas Heights (4'year term beginning 7/1/91 replacing Helen S. Barnes who <br />did not Wish to be reappointed); Blue Ridge Regional Library Governing Board- <br />-j. Shelton Sca~les, 1216 Sam Lions Trail, (a reappointment); Willis Via, 1660 <br />Roundabout Road; and Susan H. Kirby, 1115 Cherokee Trail ( 4 -year terms <br />beginn~hg 7/1/91 replacing George R. Gautsch, who was ineligible for <br />reappointment because he had moved to Henry County, and Dr. M.O. Johnson; who <br />was ineligible for reappointment because he had served two terms in <br />accordance with the Board's By-Laws); Economic Development Corporation of M- <br />HC Board of Directors--Robert S. Bowles, 120~ Country Club Drive (4-year term <br />beginning 7/1/91 replacing J. Burness Frith who did not wish to be <br />reappointed); Office on Youth Advisory Board--Kristal Shackleford, 405 Third <br />Street, (a reappointment to a 1-year student membership beginning 7/1/91); <br />West piedmont Planning District Commission Board of Commissioners--Vice-Mayor <br />Groden and Thomas Harned, i722 Meadowview Lane (3-year terms beginning 7/1/91 <br />replacing Mayor McClain and Martin Kravitz who did not wish to be <br />reappointed). Council took no action on the appointments to the Commercial <br />Development Commission. <br /> <br />Councilman Oakes reported that he had received a complaint from Mr. William <br />~<01es, 901 Dundee Court, regarding erosion and drainage problems resulting <br />from the ROyal Oaks Townhouse Project.
