Bouldin, 1525 Kenmar Drive. -. <br /> <br />Mayor McClain, on behalf of Council, said that the 40% of people who will be <br />charged a substantial increase in monthly cable television rates are very <br />upset about these changes. Mayor McClain said that he has received more <br />calls from people upset with changes made by the cable company than on any <br />other issue-during his tenure on Council. <br /> <br />At this point (9:30 P.M.), <br />travel out of the City° <br /> <br />Councilman Oakes left the meeting in order to <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council adopted on second <br /> <br />readingsOrdinance No. 90-15 amending Chapter 8, Erosion and Sediment Control <br />Ordinance of the City Code, the full text of which is attached to these <br /> <br />minutes as Appendix A. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded, and by unanimous vote, Council adopted on second <br />reading Ordinance No. 90-16 amending Chapter 21--Taxation, Article I--In <br />General, Section 21-7--Real Estate Tax Exemption of the City Code, the full <br />text of which is attached to'these minutes as Appendix B. <br /> <br />Council conducted a public hearing related to amending Chapter 1, Section 2, <br />Paragraph 37of the City Charter in order to remove the $1,000 maximum limit <br />on fines for violations of City Ordinances. There being no persons present <br />to comment onthis matter~ Mayor McClain declared the public hearing closed° <br /> <br /> <br />
