Keeping of~= goods and materials for not less than <br />two ( 2 ) days but not to exceed ten ( 10 ) days which are being <br />transported from one location ~o a location of use or disposal. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council asked the <br /> <br />City Attorney to research the.question of whether distance restrictions <br /> <br />could be placed in the Ordinance. <br /> <br />Council heard a presentation by Benjamin O. Tayloe, Executive Vice- <br />President of the National Association for a Balanced Federal System, <br />regarding the proposal of the Council of State Governments to amend <br />Article V of the U.S. Constitution to add that whenever three-fourths <br />of the legislatures of the states propose amendments to the <br />Constitution, after two ~ years they shall become valid unless <br />disapproved by two-thirds of both Houses of Congress within two years <br />of the date the amendments are submitted to Congress. Mr. Tayloe asked <br />Council to adopt a Resolution in support of the proposal. Upon motion, <br />duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council asked that a Resolution be <br />drafted by the Administration for consideration at the September 8, <br />1992 meeting of City Council. <br /> <br />In accordance with Section 2.1-344(A) of the CODE OF VIRGINIA (1950, <br />and as amended), and upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, <br />Council convened into Executive Session for the purpose of considering <br />the following: (1) appointments to a Joint City/County Long-TermSolid <br />Waste Facility Siting Committee, as authorizedby Subsection 1; (2) an <br />appointment to the Southern Area Agency on Aging Board, as authorized <br /> <br /> <br />
