<br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by said Council that this ordinance shall be
<br />in force on and after July 1, 1992.

<br />Council conducted a public hearing on Ordinance No. 92-6 on a request
<br />by Gregory L. Jackson, on behalf of Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist
<br />Church, for an amendment to Section VIII--Special Use Procedure of the
<br />City's Zoning Ordinance. Rev. Gregory Jackson spoke in favor of
<br />approval of the Ordinance. There being no other comments from the
<br />public, Mayor McClain declared the public hearing closed. Upon motion,
<br />duly seconded an~ byunanimous vote, Council approved the Ordinance on
<br />first reading (as amended).

<br />Council considered a request from Patrick Henry Community College for
<br />$1,414 during the 1992-93 Fiscal Year to help fund the Southside
<br />
