TUESDAY, MARCH 10, 1992 <br />Manager Lance G. Heater stated that he had spoken with Mrs. Annie Belle <br />King, who had appeared at the February 25, 1992 Council Meeting to <br />discuss this issue, and that she was generally satisfied with the <br />change. Councilman Oakes stated that he had been contacted by downtown <br />merchants who were interested in increasing the 20 minute on-street <br />parking time limits in some locations. Councilman Oakes asked that the <br />Administration review this situation and return with a report and <br />recommendation. <br /> <br />Council asked the Administration to work on establishing dates for the <br />next two town meetings, one to be held in the Southside area, and one <br />to be held in the Druid Hills/Forest Park area. <br /> <br />Councilman Oakes stated that he had been contacted by citizens who were <br />interested in a curfew ordinance for minors and asked the <br />Administration to be prepared to respond to such a request if it were <br />made. <br /> <br />Mayor McClain noted Senate Joint Resolution #58, designating March 12, <br />1992 as Girl Scouts of Virginia 80th Anniversary Day and commended the <br />Girl Scouts on this occasion. <br /> <br />In accordance with Section 2.1-344(A) of the CODE OF VIRGINIA (1950, <br />and as amended), and upon motion, duly seconded and carried by <br />unanimous recorded vote, Council convened into Executive Session for <br />the purpose of considering (1) a personnel matter under the <br /> <br /> <br />
