J. 83 <br /> · UBSD~, ~OVB~BB~ 9, 1993 <br />annual rental is $6,600 ($550 ~er month), ~he lease is renewable for <br />an additional five-year period after expiration of the initial term, <br />however, the rental during the renewal term is subject to <br />renegotiation. In addition, any renewal term is subject to termination <br />upon twelve months written notice by the Lessor to the Lessee. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council approved a <br />supplemental appropriation from the unexpended fund balance of the <br />Electric Fund to the FY 93-94 Electric Fund Budget in the amount of <br />$25,550 to pay for repairs to the small generator at the hydro-electric <br />plant. Electric Division Manager Eugene Richardson explained that <br />returning the generator to operation would assist in "shaving" the <br />winter peak wholesale power demand, thereby cutting the cost of <br />wholesale power. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council approved the <br />following amendment to Chapter IV, Section 4-1.2 (b) Holidays with Pay, <br />of the City's Employee Manual: <br /> <br />4-1.2 Holidays with Pay <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Employees eligible to receive pay for overtime work and <br />not routinely scheduled to work holidays to maintain <br />continuous 24 hour operations, but who are required to <br />work during the holidays listed, shall additionally be <br />paid at the rate of one and one-half times their hourly <br />or equivalent hourly rate for all hours worked. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council set the <br />following schedule for Neighborhood Town Meetings during FY 93-94: <br /> <br />January 25, 1994 - <br />March 22, 1994 - <br />June 28, 1994 - <br /> <br />Clearview Elementary School <br />Virginia Museum of Natural History <br />Patrick Henry Elementary School <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council cancelled its <br /> <br /> <br />
