TUESDAY. Carolina State Line f~ the purpose of <br />determini:~. the "~ for pavement widening, shoulder widening, <br />vertical/~rizontaI~ alignments, truck Climbing laneS, median strip <br />improvements, :~arrow bridge: structure improvements, cross-overs for <br />sight distance and ~pacing, identification and improvements of high <br />accident-prone locations; and updated lanemarking--not only to improve <br />safety but also to pP~vide for the efficient' a~effective movement of <br />goods and traffic in the future; and :~"' <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER ~ESOLVE~ that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to <br />the CommOnwealth Transportation Board, Virginia Department of <br />Transportation, and area state and federal legislators. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council approved a <br />supplemental appropriation to the Police Department's FY 93-94 Budget <br />in the amount of $4,328 which was received from the Drug Task Force and <br />which will be used to present the Drug Abuse Resistance Education <br /> <br /> <br />
