Robertson, a copy of which notice is attached hereto and made a part of this resolution as though it were set forth verbatim herein. 3. That certain lot or parcel of land,.situate at 719 Mulberry Road, in the City of Martinsville, Virginia, and being known as Lot 43, Front 104 feet of Parcel A, which land is more particularly described in that certain notice dated April 20, 1995, from Bernice H. Smith, Treasurer, to Roger L. Young and Cynthia Young, a copy of which notice is attached hereto and made a part of this resolution as though it were set forth verbatim herein. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said attorney shall commence said proceedings on or before June 6, 1995, but no sooner than May 23, 1995. 337 Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council authorized the City Manager to send a letter to Appalachian Power Company requesting negotiation of a new Electric Service Agreement and termination of the City's existing Electric Service Agreement as of June 30, 1998. Mr. Reynolds explained the notice of termination was necessary due to the three-year notice period contained in the existing Electric Service Agreement.
