City Manager <br />Reynolds recommended the appropriation be approved from the Meals Tax <br />Fund, as a one-time only use of the Meals Tax Fund for this purpose. <br />Mayor Adams noted the School Board had made Council aware early in the <br />School Year of the need, due to increased enrollment, to add four <br />additional teaching positions, but Council had deferred action on the <br />supplemental appropriation until the School Board and Superintendent <br />could attempt to find a portion of the additional funds required from <br /> <br />savings in the current <br />savings could not be <br />appropriation was needed. <br /> <br />year's budget.
