79 TUESDAY~ JUNE 9.1998 Council next considered the need to meet in Executive Session. In accordance with Section 2.1-344 (A) of the CODE OF VIRGINIA (1950, and as amended) and upon motion, duly seconded, and by unanimous recorded vote, Council convened in Executive Session for the purpose of discussing the following matters: (A)Appointments/Reappointments to various Boards/Commissions, as authorized by Subsection 1. /'-'\ At the conclusion of this Executive Session, each member of Council certified that (1) only public business matters exempt from open meeting requirements were discussed in said Executive Session; and (2) only those business matters identified in the motion convening the Executive Session were heard, discussed, or considered during said Session. Following their return to open meeting Council took no action on item (A) Council next considered adoption, on second reading, of Ordinance No. 98-6 amending Article VIII- Payment of Service Charges, Section 8. I-Regulation of the City's Terms and Conditions for Water and Sewer Service related to the reading of water meters. Upon motion duly seconded, and by unanimous vote r--\ Council adopted the following Ordinance on second reading: CITY OF MARTINSVILLE, VIRGINIA ORDINANCE NO. 98-6 WHEREAS, on February 24, 1998, Martinsville City Council adopted an updated version of the City's Terms and Conditions for Water and Sewer Service; and
