Mrs. Warlitner announced a new State brochure on the Teletechnet Program, and stated
that due to the Martinsville-Henry County community's strong support of the program, there was a
considerable recognition of that fact in the brochure. She went on to comment on how the program had
grown within the past few years, in terms of the numbers of bachelors and graduate degrees offered, and the
numbers of students in the program. Mrs. Warlitner stated that the first thirteen graduates of the program
would be graduating in December of this year. She further reported on course availability, schedule flexibility,
age range of students, and the tremendous value of the cost of the program, stating that a bachelors degree
could be obtained for a total cost of about $14,000.
