General Sign Regulations Paragraph K. Temporary <br />Display, of the Zoning Ordinance, to allow a temporary sign to be displayed for sixty <br />continuous days. <br /> <br />Summary: A Planning Commission public hearing was held on July 17,2008 to <br />consider changing the temporary sign requirements in the sign ordinance. Currently, <br />a permit can be issued for a thirty day period every ninety days. The proposed <br />amendment would allow issuance of the permit for sixty days, and if approved, for <br />another thirty days by issuance of another permit. The amendment would also permit <br />the cost of removal of the sign, once the permit has expired, to be recovered from the <br />responsible business. <br /> <br />Attachments: <br /> <br />Planning Commission letter <br />Ordinance <br /> <br />Recommendations: <br />reading. <br /> <br />Conduct a public hearing and approve ordinance on first <br />
