<br /> <br />Martinsville <br /> <br />(_- i I Y \\'!; f 1 I ~.. i <br /> <br />Proclamation <br /> <br />In Recognition of Richard Ubele, Jr. and Laurel Ubele For <br />Their Contributions to the Community <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Richard Ubele, Jr. and Laurel Ubele moved to Martinsville in <br />2003 as owners of Chick-fil-A in Liberty Fair Mall; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Richard Ubele, Jr. and Laurel Ubele immediately became <br />involved in local fundraisers, youth groups, community events and <br />church; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Richard Ubele Jr. and Laurel Ubele have enriched the local <br />community by continually donating to or supporting such community <br />events and programs as TGIF, National Night Out, Martinsville Police <br />Department's Bicycle Rodeo, HEY! / CHILL, Click It or Ticket, Lunch On <br />The Lawn and others; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Martinsville is pleased to recognize Richard Ubele, <br />Jr. and Laurel Ubele for their contributions, service and spirit of <br />dedication to the community; <br /> <br />FOR THESE SIGNIFICANT REASONS, I, KATHY C. LAWSON, Mayor of <br />the City of Martinsville, Virginia, on behalf of the City Council and the <br />citizens of the City of Martinsville, do hereby express my gratitude and <br />appreciation to Richard Ubele, Jr. and Laurel Ubele for their <br />contributions, service and spirit of dedication to the community. <br /> <br />Kathy C.
