<br />AN ORDINANCE ANEJ:IDING THE ZONING NAP AND THE ZONING CODE OF THE CITY OF MARTINSVILLE

<br />BE IT ORDAINED bJT the Council of the City of Hartinsvi11e, Virginia in regular meet-
<br />ing assembled tM.s tenth day of March 1953 that the Zoning Nap of the City of
<br />. Martinsvi11e, entitled "Building Zone },iap of the City of Martinsvi11e, Virginia,
<br />dated September 1, 1946", and the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Martinsvi11e be
<br />amended so that the following described property on the east side of Cleveland
<br />Avenue between Starling Street and }rolberry Street Extended shall read and be
<br />classified as "B-1 Business" property:
<br />
<br />Beginning at a point on the eest side of Cleveland Avenue, said point
<br />being the southeast corner of the intersection of l1u1berry Street
<br />Extension and Cleveland Avenue, thence, along Mulberry Street Extension
<br />S. 820 E., 150 feet to a point; thence, along a line paralleling Cleveland
<br />Avenue S. 80 341 W., 152.08 feet to a point on the north side of a l5-foot
<br />alley; thence, along the north line of said alley S. 670 W., 175.92 feet
<br />to a point, __ said point being the northeast corner of the intersection
<br />of said alley and the eD-st side of Cleveland Avenue, thence, along the
<br />east side of Cleveland Avenue N. 80 34' E., 244 feet to the point of
<br />beginning.

<br />Beginning at a point, said point being in the east line of Cleveland
<br />Avenue located 179 feet north of the intersection of Cleveland Avenue
<br />and Starling Avenue, tJ1ence, along the east side of Cleveland Avenue
<br />N. 80 34' E., 90 feet to a point, -- said point being the southeast corner
<br />of the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and a l5-foot alley; thence,
<br />N. 670 E., 124.85 feet along said alley to a point, thence, S. 230 E.,
<br />64 feet to a point; tilence, S. 670 W., 75 feet to a pointt tnence,
<br />S. 230 E., 23.9 feet to a point; thence, s. 670 W., 75 feet to a point;
<br />thence, N. 860 401 ~1., 24.5 feet to the point of the beginning,

<br />The terms of this Ordinance having been duly advertised in ~ Notice for Public
<br />Hearing, which Public Hearing was held this tenth day of 11arch 1953, said Ordinance
<br />is hereby adopted and, en emergency existing, is made effect! ve this tenth day of
<br />March 1953.
