Shumate that he <br /> <br />expects to request funds to enable him to employ an additional clerk in his office. <br /> <br />Upon recommendation of Cit,y Hanager Hirst, Council autLorized the accepting of a <br /> <br />purchase option offered by r,J:r. H. Banks Pannill, et a1s, (the D. H. Pa.rmill Estate), <br /> <br />whereby the City will a.cquire the right to purchas e two lots in C ha tham He ights <br /> <br />for location of a '{rater storage tank at a purchase price of $1,300.00 for both <br /> <br />lots, said option to run for six months from January 1, 1959. The option provided, <br /> <br />further, that in the event the City exercises the option and acquired the property <br /> <br />but does not construct the vmter storage tank on said property the Pannill Estate <br /> <br />retains the right to re-purchase the property from the City at the sale price. <br />
