City <br />Attorney Stone further reported that the property was purchased from Mr. John <br />R. Smith in 1910. Council suggested that a search of title be completed and that <br /> <br />the City I S Engineering Division prepare a survey of the property. <br /> <br />City Manager Hirst reported that practica~ all the points heretofore in question <br />regarding the proposed East-West Roadway have been settled although there remain <br /> <br />points to resolve, viz., that section of the roadway affecting Dudley street near <br /> <br />Clearview Drive-rester Imnber Company haVing requested that a portion of Dudley <br /> <br />Street be vacated and abandoned.. Upon City Manager Hirst's recommendation, <br /> <br />Council authorized the beginning of negotiations for acquisition of right-of-way <br />and the preparation of deeds for right-of-way for presentation to Council. <br />
