Transfer. <br />A solicitor's permit issued under this chapter shall be non- <br />transferable. <br /> <br />00.."" <br />g~ <br />Iv> <br />(-~ <br /> <br />Sec. 10. Conditions. <br />A solicitor's permit shall be issued subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />(a) The holder shall have his solicitor's permit in his poss- <br />ession at all times and shall exhibit the same at any tine upon <br />request by aIT'J police officer of the city, or by any purchaser, or <br />by any person being s olici ted. <br />(b) The holder of a permit shall rrcake no false staterr:ents or <br />m:Lsrepresentations of facts in the course of carrying on the activity <br />for which the permit is granted, and shall cO:1duct himself at all <br />times in an orderly and lavlful manner. <br />(c) For the sale and/or deliyery 0: any coods, vmres or merchan- <br />dise, there shall be a written order or invoice, in duplicate, show- <br />ing mUlle and address of firm represented by the S olld tor, issued <br />and sigmd by the solicitor, signed by tIle pllrch?ser, stating the <br />terms anri conc1i tions of the sale, a description of the ,,;oods , wares <br />or merc:,andisc, the quantity 2nd price thereof, the date of sale <br />and/or the da to of de livery, an d the amount pai d in adv anc e , if any. <br />The duplicate of such order or invoice shall be given to the <br />purchaser. <br />(d) The holder shall not sell, distribute or circulate literary <br />material or canvass or solicit ordors therefor or for goods or <br />merchandise from pedestrian or vehicular traffic on or adjacent to <br />8n;y- street vdthin the limits of t.'-1e city, in s'J.ch manner as will <br />interfere with the norn:ll and usual use of such street. <br />(e) The ~older shall not enter in or upon an;y- house, building <br />or other str',lcture or an;y- land or propert:r, without the prior consent <br />of the m'~r or occupant thereof, where there is placed or posted on <br />the prenises in a consuicuous position at o~ near the usual neans of <br />i!\.~ess, a sip,n or other form of notice statine; or indicating that <br />the ovmer or occupant thereof forbids ')1:" otherwise does not desire <br />persorm en;:;~\;ed in such or similar .?ct::iYity to enter upon the <br />pre mis es . <br /> <br />Sec. 11. aevocation. <br />Any solicitor IS permit issued under tho provisions of t..~is chapter <br />1Il8Y be revoked by the chief of poliCE:, after notice and tearing, for <br />any fraud, nisrepresentation or false statement contained in the <br />ap-~')lica.,ion; for failure to observe the conditions of the permit; or <br />upon any subsequent convict:i.on of any crine or misdemeanor involving <br />moral turpitude. <br />t:otice of the hearinG for revocation of a permit shall be in wri t- <br />ing, setting forth the specific reason or reasons for t!1e hearing <br />and the time and place thereof. 81.:ch notice shall be 'iven to the <br />holder of the permit at least two days, if by personal service, and <br />at least three days, if by local l!'ai1, addressed to the holder's <br />188+, ]mmm local address, prior to the stated hearinG. <br />
