Applicants to be fingerprinted and photoc;raphed. <br />The applicant for a solicitor's pernlit must be photographed and <br />fingerprinted. <br /> <br />Sec. 5. Fee. <br />The person issued a solicitor's perrJit shall pay to the city a <br />fee of one dollar and twenty-five cents therefor, vmich fee sha1l <br />cover tl'l3 cost of investigation and iS3u&nce of the permit. <br /> <br />Sec. 6. Issuance. <br />Upon c omplicmce by the appli_~<Lnt "d.th the preceding sections of <br />this article, the chief of police or' his dosicmted subordinate s~lall <br />after such investigation as reasonably a~pcars necessary, issue to <br />s ueh appliccmt a solicitor's permit which shall be dated and signed <br />by the chief of police or his desj.gnated subordinate; provided, hO'r- <br />ever, that the chief of police or his dcsigrp.ted s'lbordj nate shall <br />not be required to issue such a solicitor's Dermit to arw person <br />who shall have been convicted of arw crir.'le or misdemeanor invo17ing <br />mor2.1 tc:.rrd.tuc1e, or to .::'l\:l person v-Those pernit has beon previously <br />revoked, or to any person who is unable to substantiate the prior <br />reLiability of ~imself or the person or firrr; he represents. <br /> <br />Sec. 7. Term. <br />A solicitor's permit issued under this chapte2:' shall be good for <br />a period of thirty ili~ys and no longer. <br /> <br />Sec. 8. RenEWral. <br />A solicitor's per:l:lit ma,y be renewed on its expiration date, for <br />an additional like period, upon the execution of a renewal application <br />settinG forth that. the statements :nade in the or'ir;inal application <br />are true anci accurate statements B.t the tiJrE the renevml application <br />is filed or a rene.wal application settinr; forth all changes in the <br />orifjhml application required by a change in facts since the date of <br />filing the oriGinal appl:Lcation. For each renewal permit the appli- <br />cant shall pay to the city a fee of one dollar. <br />
