Inasmuch as there was a difficulty in establishing lines on this property, it was recessary for us to call in Mr. J. A. Trent, County Surveyor, to assist in preparing a map of the property. As the County has an arrangement wi th Mr. Trent for wbrk that he does for them, they requested that we pay Clark Brown IS bill for this survey and that. they pay :Mr. Trent's bill. We felt that this was an equitable agreement and agreed to it. I would like to call to your attention that Mr. George Nease who purchased the lots on Sellers Street described as Location #2 in the brochure, d~ so with the understanding that the CiW would be agreeable to working it out with him so that he could acquire the small triangular strip of land immediately behind Lots #32, 33 and a portion of 34 so that he could face these lots on Memorial Boulevard. I discussed this ,vi th Mayor Hodnett Friday prior to the sale so that I might be able to indicate to Mr. Nease and several other interested parties the position of the City in this matter.
