<br />3~ <br /> <br />TUES DAY <br /> <br />JUNE 13, 1961 <br /> <br />Availability of Service <br />Available for the entire requirements of general service customers who <br />have installed and in regular active use electric heating equipnent which <br />supplies the entire heating of the customer IS premises. <br /> <br />Rate <br />--r.:or the first 1,000 kwh used per month . . . . . 2.5 cents per kwh <br />For the next 3,000 kwh used per month . . . 2.0 cents per kwh <br />For the next 3,000 kwh used per month . . . . . 1.5 cents per kwh <br />For the next 10,000 kwh used per month . . . 1.2 cents per kwh <br />For allover 17,000 kwh used per month . . 1.0 cents per kwh <br /> <br />There shall be added to the above kwh charges $1.50 for each kw of <br />monthly demand in excess 0 f 15 kw. <br /> <br />Fuel Clause <br />This rate is based upon the weigh ted average cost of fuel consumed by <br />Appalachian Power Company at its principal generating stations. For the <br />purpose of computing fuel costs under this fuel clause, the price per ton <br />paid for coal will be based solely on purchases from non-affiliated mines. <br />If during any monthly period such average cost is above 18.5 cents per <br />1,000,000 BTU by at least .5 cent, an additional charge during the second <br />month thereafter will be made on the actual kwh billed during said second <br />month at the rate of .00525 cents per kwh for each full .5 cent increase <br />in the cost of fuel above 18.5 cents per 1,000,000 BTU. <br />If duri ng any monthly period such average cost is less than 18.0 cents <br />per 1,000,000 BTU by at least .5 cent, the bill rendered to the customer <br />for the second succeeding month shall be decreased by an amount equal to <br />the actual kwh billed during said second month multiplied by .00525 cents <br />per lavh for each full .5 cent decrease in the cost of fuel below 18.0 cents <br />per 1,000,000 BTU. <br /> <br />Minim'lllIl C bar ge <br />Th:is tariff is subject to a minimum monthly charge of $7.50 plus $1.50 <br />for each kvV' of monthly billing demand in excess of 15 kw, and adjus tments <br />as determined under the Fuel Claus e. <br /> <br />Dalayed Payment Charfe <br />This tariff is ne if account is paid in full within ten (10) days from <br />due date. On all accounts not so paid an additional charge of 10% shall <br />be added. <br /> <br />Measurement of Ener~ .~.nd Determination of Demand <br />Energy supplies hereunder will be delivered through not more than one <br />single phase and/or one polyphase meter.
