Roy C. Stone, owner of the property identified as <br /> <br />"Frank's Food Fair" at the intersection of East Church street and Brookdale street, <br /> <br />has indicated an interest in exchanging certain right-of-way needed by the City <br /> <br />for certE.in City-olfmed right-of-way, which exchange would be made upon completion <br /> <br />of the reconstruction project. Meanwhile, Coumil was advised that Mr. Stone has <br /> <br />already granted usage of his right-of-way through a "right of entry" and, further, <br /> <br />that in the event the contemplated exchanc;e is not effected the City w0-:11d negotiate <br /> <br />with 1ff.r. stone on the basis of the appraisal currently authorized by the present <br /> <br />negotiator, 1~. Marvin L. Hill. <br /> <br />Council vms advised of the termination on July 1, 1960 of the terms of Mr. Henry <br /> <br />C. Reed and Mr. Thornton G. Wampler as members of the City School Board. <br /> <br />Councj.l acknowbdged receipt of written notice from the Henry County Board of Supervisors <br /> <br />that the Supervisors des ire to terminate its contract--at its forthcoming expiration <br /> <br />date--wi th the City for the "board and care" of City of MaTtimville prisoners placed <br /> <br />in the County's custody at the Henry County Jail.
