3:: TUESDAY JANUARY 12, 1965 - taxation--all of the revenue from an increase in utility taxes be allocated to the municipal building program and one-half of the increase on real estate and public service corporation tax revenue, also, to the municipal building program. For the street construction program, City Manager Hirst proposed that there be allocated the other half of the increase on real estate and public service corporation tax revenue and all of the increased motor vehicle tax revenue. -- In both purposes, pre-set a'Ilounts '_rould be established. Of the five plans for raising additional revenue for these projects, Council generally favored Plan 5, as follows, and instructed City Attorney Cubine to prepare drafts of tax revenue ordinances, or amendments thereto, to effect the proposed tax increases, for Council's consideration: Plan 5 a.
