<br />:98 <br /> <br />TUESDAY <br /> <br />AUGUST 11, 1 964 <br /> <br />(7) Possibly provide for the extension of Madison Street to <br /> <br />Brookdale Street under the subdivision ordinance, with the <br /> <br />understanding that no entrances will be allowed off Madison <br /> <br />Street into the Mall. <br />Council authorized the preparation of such a contract along these conditions, <br /> <br />for presentation to Council for official action. <br /> <br />In connection with a request submitted by Mr. Preston R. Graham on December <br /> <br />10, 1963, for the rezoning of certain of his property along the east side of <br /> <br />Liberty Street, the Planning Commission recommended by le~r dated August 11, <br /> <br />1964, IIThat Lots No.4, No.5 and No.6 be rezoned in their entirety, except <br /> <br /> <br />for a 25-foot strip immediately adjacent to Roselawn Cemetery, from its R-9 <br /> <br /> <br />Residential classification to a C-3 Commercial classificationll. Council, <br /> <br /> <br />thereupon, called for a duly-advertised public hearing to be conducted on <br /> <br />this rezoning proposal at Council's next regular meeting, to be held August <br /> <br />25, 1964. <br /> <br />By letter, Mr. Leonard W. Hurrell requested the rezoning of Lot No. 11, on <br /> <br />Moss 'Street, from its present IIR-6 Residential" classification to an <br /> <br />appropriate classification to permit him to operate a dental laboratory <br /> <br />at that location. Council referred this request to the Planning Commission <br /> <br />for its study and recommendation. <br /> <br />By letter dated August 8, 1964, Mr. R. H. Wimbish, Contractor, requested <br /> <br />permission to extend the City1s eight-inch sewer main from its present <br /> <br />terminus to serve four lots--Nos. 31, 32, 33, and 34--owned by Mr. Wimbish <br /> <br />and located on the southeast side of Grandview Road, just outside the City's <br /> <br />corporate limits. Council unanimously granted permission to Mr. Wimbish to <br /> <br />
