R. M. Simmons, Sr., Chairman <br /> <br />of the Board, and Mr. J. F. Hankins, Secretary-Treasurer, who brought out the <br /> <br />fact that they have authorized Mrs. Palmer to employ a surveyor to establish the <br />correct property line, cost of which will be paid by American Furniture Company. <br />These officials also pointed out that arrangements have been made to provide <br /> <br />"turn-around" facilities for heavy trucks away from Mt-s. Palm.er's property, <br />"'~ <br />apologizing for any encroachment upon Mrs. Palmer's property"for any inconveniences <br /> <br />caused Mrs. Palmer. In addition, the petitioner took exception to the Planning <br />Commission's recommendation submitted July 23, 1963, in that no purpose could be <br /> <br />served by the ten-foot set-back on Aaron street recanInended by the Commission <br /> <br />but that a five-foot set-back on this street would be adequate far the City's <br /> <br />requirements. In addition, the petitioner stated that along Aaron Street its <br /> <br />proposed wilding will average a distance of eight feet from the right-of-way. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and unanimously carried, Council granted the American <br />Furniture Company's request for rezoning, as amended as to the five-foot set-back <br /> <br />on Aaron Street, by adopting the following ordinance amending the City's Zoning <br /> <br />Code and Map: <br />
