<br />1~ <br /> <br />TUESDAY <br /> <br />AUGUST 6. 1963 <br /> <br />--- <br /> <br />BE IT CRDAIrED by the Council of the City of Martinsville, Virginia, <br />in special meeting assembled this sixth day of August, 1963, that the <br />City's Zoning Code and Map be and are hereby amended to reclassif'y <br />to "B-2 Industrial", for zoning purposes, all that property owed <br />by the American Furniture Company-not already so zoned-lying along <br />the south side of Aaron Street and the east side of Broad Street, <br />extending back to the rear line of a tier of lots fronting on <br />Emmett Street; and <br /> <br />-" <br /> <br />BE IT FURTlER CRDAllED that a ten-foot (1 0') set-fack is hereby <br />established along the Anerican Furniture Company's property on Broad <br />Street and that a five-foot (5') set-back is hereby established along <br />American Forni ture Company's property on Aaron Street where not set-back <br />or a different set-back is in force, such five-foot set-back to be for <br />a distance of 518.71 feet along Aaron Street. <br /> <br />Following this action by Council, scme discussion developed as to possibilities <br /> <br />of improving truck-routing patterns in the Broad Street-Aaron street area, with <br />Council suggesting that study be given this matter. <br /> <br />Council was adjourned. <br /> <br />W?H~~~"Cl';k of Council <br />
