Side yard .. . . . . . . . . . . . 1 ft. per unit, 15 feet max. <br />and providing off-street parking for one and one-half spaces per dwelling <br />unit. <br /> <br />On corner lots each street frontage shall be considered as lot frontage <br />subject to front yard requirements for the district. <br /> <br />A special committee, composed of Councilmen Stone and Burch, appointed February 12, <br /> <br />1963 to negotiate with the local P&.'1nill Post of the American legion for a purchase <br /> <br />offer on the Legion's property at 47 West Church Street, reported that the American <br /> <br />legion (through its committee) has offered to sell its property (at 47 Hest Church <br /> <br />Street) to the City for the sum of $48,000.00, suggesting a cash down-payment of <br /> <br />......-..., <br /> <br />ten per cent with the remainder to be paid over a period of years through deferred <br /> <br />payments evidenced by notes to bear interest at five per cent per annum, vrHh right <br /> <br />of anticipation reserved. Upon recommendation of Council's cOmIT~ttee, Council agreed <br /> <br />to offer to purchase this property for the sum of $48,000.00, payable in three annual <br /> <br />installments of $18,000.00, $15,000.00, and $15,000.00, vrith interest not to exceed <br /> <br />three per cent per annum on unpaid balance and, further, directed Mayor Wilson and <br /> <br /><- <br /> <br />City 11anager Hirst to negotiate with the Iwerican Legion towards acquiring the <br /> <br />property on this basis. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and unanimously carried, Council accepted the following <br /> <br />agreement--authorizing Mayor Wilson and Council's Clerk to execute on behalf of the <br />
