Gustin & Associates on October 25, 1963; revised Janu~ry 27, 1964 <br />and March 5, 1964, and being more particularly described as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br />BEGINNING at a point on the East margin of Roy Street and which <br />point also marks the Northeast corner of the Western half of <br />Lot 13 as shown on said map; thence running with the Eastern <br />margin of Roy Street S. 440 45' W. 151.34 feet to a point; thence <br />crossing Roy Street in a Northwestern direction 30 feet, more or <br />less, to a point; thence with Roy Street N. 440 45' E. 148.10 feet <br />to a point; thence crossing Roy Street S. 450 15' E. 30 feet to the <br />point of beginning, being shown on the aforementioned map as a <br />portion of Roy Street. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that a copy of this ordinance shall forthwith be <br />filed with the Clerk of the Corporation Court of the City of Martinsville, <br />Virginia. <br /> <br />Mr.' William F. Stone, Attorney at Law and Counsel for Mr. G. N. DeShazo, petitioner, <br /> <br />filed with Council his client's written request that the following-described unopened <br /> <br />alleyways be closed and abandoned: <br /> <br />(1) that unopened alleyway lying between the east margin of the Norfolk <br />& Western Railway Company's property and Lots Nos. 78 and 67 between <br />Maryland Street and Winston Street; and <br /> <br />(2) that unopened alleyway that divides Lots Nos. 78 and 79 from Lots Nos. <br />67, 68, and 69, which lie between Lavinder Street and the east margin <br />of Norfolk & Western Railway Company's property. <br /> <br />Attorney stone, as Counsel for Martinsville Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Inc., also <br /> <br />filed with Council his client's request that the following-described unopened <br /> <br />~..;,_. <br /> <br />entrance road be closed and abandoned: <br /> <br />that forty-foot entrance road leading off the west side of Route 220 <br />in South Martinsville, and lying between the property of petitioner <br />and that of E. W. Ayers, as shown on map prepared by J. A. Gustin & <br />Associates on June 23, 1960, for petitioner, and of record in Map Book <br />#7, page 39, in the Martinsville Corporation Court Clerk's office. <br /> <br />Pursuant to authority granted by Council, Mayor Renick appointed the following <br /> <br />citizens to serve as a Board of Viewers and to perform the duties required by <br /> <br />applicable statutes: <br /> <br />Messrs. Thomas J. Burch, O. B. Hensley, and J. E. Jones. <br />
