Gustin & Associates on October 25, 1963; revised Janu~ry 27, 1964 and March 5, 1964, and being more particularly described as follows, to-wit: BEGINNING at a point on the East margin of Roy Street and which point also marks the Northeast corner of the Western half of Lot 13 as shown on said map; thence running with the Eastern margin of Roy Street S. 440 45' W. 151.34 feet to a point; thence crossing Roy Street in a Northwestern direction 30 feet, more or less, to a point; thence with Roy Street N. 440 45' E. 148.10 feet to a point; thence crossing Roy Street S. 450 15' E. 30 feet to the point of beginning, being shown on the aforementioned map as a portion of Roy Street. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that a copy of this ordinance shall forthwith be filed with the Clerk of the Corporation Court of the City of Martinsville, Virginia. Mr.' William F. Stone, Attorney at Law and Counsel for Mr. G. N. DeShazo, petitioner, filed with Council his client's written request that the following-described unopened alleyways be closed and abandoned: (1) that unopened alleyway lying between the east margin of the Norfolk & Western Railway Company's property and Lots Nos. 78 and 67 between Maryland Street and Winston Street; and (2) that unopened alleyway that divides Lots Nos. 78 and 79 from Lots Nos. 67, 68, and 69, which lie between Lavinder Street and the east margin of Norfolk & Western Railway Company's property. Attorney stone, as Counsel for Martinsville Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Inc., also filed with Council his client's request that the following-described unopened ~..;,_. entrance road be closed and abandoned: that forty-foot entrance road leading off the west side of Route 220 in South Martinsville, and lying between the property of petitioner and that of E. W. Ayers, as shown on map prepared by J. A. Gustin & Associates on June 23, 1960, for petitioner, and of record in Map Book #7, page 39, in the Martinsville Corporation Court Clerk's office. Pursuant to authority granted by Council, Mayor Renick appointed the following citizens to serve as a Board of Viewers and to perform the duties required by applicable statutes: Messrs. Thomas J. Burch, O. B. Hensley, and J. E. Jones.
