McGhee, Traffic & Planning Engineer, the Planning <br /> <br />Commission informed Council that it has been unable to meet statutory <br /> <br />requirements to permit a joint public hearing by Council and the Commission <br /> <br />at Council's forthcoming January 27th meeting, on the application filed <br /> <br />December 18th (1969) by J. R. S. Enterprises for a special-use permit to <br /> <br />allow construction of a medical complex along Northside Drive and adjacent <br /> <br />to the site of the new Martinsville General Hospital. Accordingly, a joint <br /> <br />public hearing on this matter was scheduled for Council's forthcoming <br /> <br />February 10th meeting. <br />
