Upon motion, duly seconded and <br /> <br />unanimously carried, Council tentatively accepted the Commission's recommendation, meanwhile <br /> <br />calling for a duly-advertised public hearing thereon to be conducted at Council's forthcoming <br /> <br />November 12th meeting. <br /> <br />In response to Council's September 17th request, the Public Works Department presented an <br /> <br />estimate of the cost of widening and improving Pine Hall Road to the extent proposed by <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager-Public Works Director George W. Brown, who recommended that--shou1d <br /> <br />Council authorize said widening and improvements--construction be deferred until after the <br /> <br />forthcoming winter months to avoid damage thereto by anticipated heavy equipment traffic which <br /> <br />might be generated in connection with the construction of the proposed apartment complex by the <br /> <br />Buena Vista Partnership, should Council issue a Special-Use Permit to said pgrtnership for said <br /> <br />purpose, for which an application was filed with Council on June 25, 1974 and on which <br /> <br />application a public hearing was conducted September 17, 1974. Upon motion, duly seconded, <br /> <br />Council authorized certain preliminary work to be undertaken during the current fiscal year <br /> <br />toward the widening-and-improving project (total cost of said project estimated to be some <br /> <br />$44,000.00), with current cost thereof to be charged to the City's thoroughfare program, and <br /> <br />with Council committed to provide funds for actual construction in the forthcoming 1975-76 <br /> <br />budget. Also, by and in the same motion, Council granted a Special-Use Permit to the Buena <br /> <br />Vista Partnership for the purpose set forth in petitioner's application, subject to compliance <br /> <br />by petitioner with special conditions made a part of the Planning Commission's recommendation thereon <br /> <br />as filed with Council at its meeting held September 17, 1974. <br /> <br />Upon recommendation of Assistant City Manager-Public Works Director George W.
