<br />TO GRANT TO MARTINSVILLE CABLE VISION, INC., CERTAIN AMENDMENTS
<br />TO ITS RIGHT, FOR THE TERM AND UPON THE CONDITIONS HEREIN
<br />STATED, TO USE THE STREETS, ALLEYS AND PUBLIC PLACES TO
<br />CONSTRUCT, INSTALL, OPERATE AND MAINTAIN A COMMUNITY ANTENNA
<br />TELEVISION SYSTEM, INCLUDING CONDUITS AND APPURTENANCES,
<br />NECESSARY TO THE SALE AND DISTRIBUTION OF COMMUNITY ANTENNA
<br />TELEVISION SERVICE IN AND ALONG THE STREETS, ALLEYS AND
<br />OTHER PUBLIC PLACES IN THE CITY OF MARTINSVILLE, VIRGINIA;
<br />ESTABLISHING CONDITIONS CONTROLLING THE SALE AND DISTRIBUTION
<br />OF COMMUNITY ANTENNA TELEVISION; AND REGULATING THE MANNER
<br />OF USING THE STREETS, ALLEYS AND PUBLIC WAYS:

<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARTINSVILLE:

<br />That having redetermined the legal, character, financial,
<br />technical, and other qualifications of Martinsville Cable
<br />Vision, Inc. originally made on July 9, 1968, in connection
<br />with the approval of a transfer to Martinsville Cable
<br />Vision, Inc. of a franchise for the operation of a community
<br />antenna television system originally granted to C. Harry Anglin,
<br />T/A Clear View Cable Television Company, the right is hereby
<br />granted unto Martinsville Cable Vision, Inc., "grantee", its
<br />successors and assigns, for the term and subject to the
<br />additional or amended conditions and limitations hereafter
<br />stated, to use the streets, alleys and public places of the
<br />City of Martinsville, Virginia, and to run cables and wires
<br />and to install appliances in, under, over and along the streets,
<br />alleys and public places of the City of Martinsville, for the purpose
<br />of operating a community antenna television system within
<br />the Corporate Limits of the City of Martinsville as these
<br />limits may now exist or may hereafter be extended or altered
<br />within the period of this grant.

<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARTINSVILLE:

<br />Sub-paragraph (a) of Section 1. Definitions appearing on page
<br />2 is amended to read as follows:
<br />
<br />"a. Whenever the word "grantee" appears in this
<br />ordinance, it is intended to designate and shall be
<br />held to mean Martinsville Cable Vision, Inc., its
<br />successors and assigns."

<br />Section 2. Grant of Authority appearing on page 3 is amended to read
<br />as follows:
<br />
<br />"Section 2. Grant of Authority. Subject to the
<br />provisions, conditions and restrictions herein-
<br />after set forth, there is hereby granted to
<br />Martinsville Cable Vision, Inc., grantee, for a
<br />period of fifty-nine (59) months from the effective
<br />date of this ordinance, the right to use the streets
<br />of the city to operate and maintain a community
<br />antenna television system within the limits of the
<br />city, and for these purposes to acquire, install,
<br />maintain and use cables, wires and appliances over
<br />and along and to run cables and wires in, under and
<br />
