<br />The City Manager noted that there had been placed on display a map showing the layout
<br />
<br />of the Town in 1792, indicating that apparently this map was in conjunction with the
<br />
<br />Legislative Act which established Martinsville as an unincorporated town, and reference
<br />
<br />was made to another map on display, dated 1891, this map being quite explicit as to
<br />
<br />location of key buildings and names of streets, and it was noted that the names of
<br />
<br />many streets have been changed since 1891.
