Inasmuch as Council took no action as to a <br /> <br />site selection and issued no Special-Use Permit, Council unanimously "tabled II <br /> <br />consideration of these proposed revisions. <br /> <br />Council interrupted its regular order of business to recognize and honor the <br /> <br />following City officials for their faithful and outstanding services to the City <br /> <br />during their tenures with the City: <br />(1) Mayor Hobson, who chose not to be a candidate in the recent councilmanic <br />election and whose term of office ends June 30, 1980, having served <br />continuously as a member of Council since 1968, as Vice-Mayor 1974-76, <br />and as Mayor since November 23, 1976; <br />(2) City Manager Noland, who will retire on June 30, 1980, having served <br />as City Manager since January 1, 1966; and <br />(3) Police Chief Frank A.
