<br />TUESDAY <br /> <br />OCTOBER 12, 1982 <br /> <br />times: One (1) space for each four seats in the place of <br />assembly or activity or one (1) space for each thirty-two <br />square feet of area designed for the assembling of persons, <br />whichever is greater. To the extent not included in the <br />foregoing definition, the following shall govern: <br /> <br />A. Private clubs and lodges: One (1) space for each 200 <br />square feet of floor area. <br /> <br />B. Swimming pools intended to serve the membership of <br />private clubs, lodges, or organizations: One (1) <br />space for every 100 square feet of water and minimum <br />deck area as per the City's Swimming Pool Ordinance <br />and one (1) space for every 100 square feet of desig- <br />nated activity area. <br /> <br />C. Swimming pools (public): One (1) space for every 75 <br />square feet of water and minimum deck area as per the <br />City's Swimming Pool Ordinance, and one (1) space for <br />every 100 square feet of designated activity area. <br /> <br />An emergency existing, this ordinance shall be in force on and after <br />October 12, 1982. <br /> <br />Upon being informed that the billing for 1971 real estate taxes on property at 1031 Mountain <br /> <br />Road was forwarded to Benjamin L. and Della R. Fowlkes, former owners of said property and <br /> <br />who sold this propeLty to Charles E. Huff in March of 1971, on which property said 1971 <br /> <br />taxes in the amount of $134.00 and penalty and interest (including Clerk's fee) in <br /> <br />the amount of $134.82 remain unpaid, and that Mr. Huff is willing to pay the delinquent tax <br /> <br />amount due but is seeking a waiver (because he never received any billing for the 1971 taxes) <br /> <br />of the penalty and interest (including Clerk's fl~e) assessed and accrued in the amount of <br /> <br />$134.82, Council unanimously directed that said penalty and interest be waived. <br /> <br />Upon recommendation of the special Health Center Expansion Study Committee (composed of <br /> <br />Councilman Reed and Councilwoman Severt), Council unanimously appropriated the sum of <br /> <br />$5,000.00 toward the cost of purchasing furniture, fixtures, and equipment (estimated to <br /> <br />cost $77,300.00, with the remainder to be financed from budgeted funds and from supplemental <br />
