<br />97 <br /> <br />TUESDAY, MAY 28, 1~85 <br /> <br />estate reassessment value of $350,923,900. <br /> <br />Upon motion by Vice-Mayor <br /> <br />Severt, seconded by Councilman Oakes and unanimously carried, Council <br /> <br />approved the real property tax rate of $0.76 per $100 of assessed value <br /> <br />for FY85-86. <br /> <br />Pursuant to duly published <br /> <br />hearing for the purpose <br /> <br />$35,295,200. George W. <br /> <br />public notice, Council conducted a public <br /> <br />of considering the 1985-86 City Budget of <br />Brown, City Manager, noted that the budget as <br /> <br />advertised reflected the refinement and changes discussed during the <br /> <br />Council work sessions and one addition to the budget as proposed <br /> <br />originally, that being a recommendation to hire a part-time computer <br /> <br />programmer who would be assigned to Data Processing, for which additional <br /> <br />funds in the amount of $6,692 had been included in the proposed budget for <br /> <br />FY85-86. There being no comments from the public, the public hearing was <br /> <br />declared closed. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Councilman Oakes, seconded by <br /> <br />Councilman Groden and unanimously approved to accept the 1985-86 Budget as <br /> <br />presented. <br /> <br />After consideration of an ordinance appropriating a total of $35,295,200 <br /> <br />(including Reserves) from the various fund sources of estimated revenue <br /> <br />for FY85-86; and setting tax rates for said fiscal year for real estate, <br /> <br />personal property and machinery and tools, upon motion by Councilman <br /> <br />Groden, seconded by Vice-Mayor Severt and <br /> <br />unanimous approval said <br /> <br />ordinance was adopted on an emergency basis, as follows: <br />
