:..:( (91 d J TUESDAY, OCTOBER 14, 1986 The record notes that the Henry County Public Service Authority has agreed that .- the City has the right, under the 1974 PSA/City agreement, to service this property. Upon motion, duly seconded and unanimously carried, Council granted Mrs. Hattie H. Strait's request for an extension of a City water line to her property situ- ated outside the City on the west side of State Route 662 (Clearview Drive). .,,,,,,-,, In so doing, Council accepted the Planning Commission's recommendation thereon, including appropriate covenants, and authorized City Manager Brown to execute (on behalf of the City) a required contract or agreement. The record notes that the Henry County Public Service Authority has indicated in writing that it has no objection to the City providing water service to Mrs. Strait's property. Council unanimously adopted the following ordinance, identified as Ordinance No. 86-8 and introduced and placed on first reading by Council at its September 25th meeting, which amends Section 5.1 of the City's Water/Sewer Service Terms & Conditions, by making said section applicable to usable mobile home spaces, under certain conditions, and applying the City's water rate schedule for 3/4-inch metering: .- BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Martinsville, Virginia, in regular session held October 14, 1986, that Article V--Water Service, Section 5-1--Separate Services Required, Sub-section c of the Water and Sewer Services Terms and Conditions be and hereby is amended, as follows: ARTICLE V Water Service Sec. 5.1 Separate Services Required There shall be each residence shall water be prises through a separate service connection from the water main to or commercial enterprise in the City.
