Upon reconvening into regular session, <br /> <br />any upon motions, duly seconded and unanimously carried, Council <br /> <br />(A) appointed Mr. William T. Moore to membership on the City's Social <br />Services Administrative Board for a four-year term (beginning as <br />of July 1, 1986); <br /> <br />(B) appointed Mrs. Agnes Scott Hairston, Mrs. Eliza H. Severt, Dr. John <br />J. Engel, and Mr. Harry P. Varn, Sr., to membership on the Regional <br />Commission for Educational Planning (now in the process of being <br />organized) for two-year and/or four-year terms (to be determined by <br />the "drawing of straws"); and <br /> <br />--- <br /> <br />(C) authorized the sale of a 10.8-acre tract off Spruce Street (between <br />property fronting the east side of Corn Tassel Trail and property <br />fronting the west side of Hunting Ridge Road) to Mr. Bill A. Adkins, <br />Contractor, for the sum of $45,000.00 (Mr. Adkins being the high <br />bidder for this property), subject to Mr. Adkins' obtaining a <br />Special-Use Permit from the City to allow for the construction of <br />some 64 townhouse residential units on said property. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and unanimously carried, Council accepted the Planning Com- <br /> <br />mission's recommendation that the restrictive deed covenants granted by Council (on <br /> <br />February 25, 1986) to Mohawk Properties for development by grantee of property on the <br />
