<br />32 <br /> <br />TUESDAY, JULY 8, 1986 <br /> <br />east side of Spruce Street, adjacent to property previously designated as Tan Bark <br /> <br />Place and situated primarily in Henry County, be amended to allow for the con- <br /> <br />struction by grantee of two separate buildings on a single lot. <br /> <br />Mayor Oakes announced receipt of Councilman Cole's resignation as a member of the <br /> <br />West Piedmont Planning District Commission Board, effective July 1, 1986, on which <br /> <br />Board Mr. Cole has served almost ten years. <br /> <br />Mayor Oakes also announced receipt of a letter of appreciation and commendation from <br /> <br />the local American Red Cross Chapter for the sponsorship by the City (under the <br /> <br />direction of Mr. James W. Hopkins, Assistant Public Works Director) of a recent <br /> <br />Bloodmobile visit. <br /> <br />Mayor Oakes suggested that the Council's "annual tour" of City streets and street <br /> <br />projects be soon scheduled, beginning at the City's Prison Farm. <br /> <br />Mayor Oakes then declared this meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> <br />Council <br />
