50 TUESDAY, APRIL 22, 1986 4. Piedmont Seniors of Virginia, Inc. (by Mr. William B. Peterson) -- request for $1,167.00 unanimously approved; 5. Probation Division of Juvenile & Domestic Relations District Court (by Mr. Jan Reed) -- action on request(s) continued, pending study- review thereof by City Manager Brown; 6. Anchor Houses (by Mr. Curtis Nolan) -- voted to limit increase for 1986-87 to 5% over $23,502.00 appropriated to this agency for 1985-86 (vote being four-to-one, Mayor Cole voting "no" on motion, with Mayor Cole expressing preference that Council not act on individual agency requests at this meeting but postpone until after the budget review process is completed); 7. City's Social Services Department (by Dr. Richard L. Gipple, Board Member, and by Mrs. Pat Conrad, Department Director) -- because of pending addendum to this agency's initial budget requests, involving mandated additional personnel (for child abuse program) and recovery of allocated costs, Council postponed action on this phase of the City budget; 8.
